With the amount of beads, tumble stones and rocks I have collected over the years I am sure I could open a shop just for the things I have been hoarding... as you do... for the next big design idea or spark of genius. And then you find the next "best ever" bead or component and you save it and the cycle continues. So when I saw Lori Anderson's new challenge how could I resist :-) I have signed up for this: I'll post my designs on 20th July.

Or is it?... Its never Christmas until Slade is played and Noddy Holder's "It's Christmas" rings out over radio 2. I may have missed it but I have not heard it yet! So come on BBC where is my song? In every other way the Christmas madness is here. I should know! I have been at numerous craft fairs already with our jewellery and wire sculpture trees. I am sure most makers and designers are doing the same. Week-ends are not a time to relax any more, most evenings there are little Village hall and school fund-raising events happening and the bespoke gift orders are coming in too! It's all Go! Go! Go! and I am loving it :-) In the last couple of weeks I have had a lot of interest in my freshwater Pearl strings and other jewellery. I have agreed to have a craft stall at the Stamford Dog Show being held on the Stamford Meadows on Sunday, 13 th September 2009. The Stamford Dog Show is organised by Trinity Methodist Church, Barn Hill, Stamford Lincs . This is the 5 th Annual Dog Show and Children's Pet show. It has always been a family Fun Day out and is very popular with animal lovers, young and old. And our Friends Tony and Sandra from Pets Korner Stamford are the Main Sponsor for the Dog & Pet Show. I will display my jewellery there (of course!) but we will also display a range of rough rocks and tumble stones. These are becoming increasingly popular as decorations and also for people who are into crystal healing. And of course my dear friend Amanda of Greensleaves Florist will be sharing the stand with me with her range of Fresh flower Bunches, Bouquets, Flower arrangements and Silk Flower displays.
