Fineshade Woods Craft Display - Jewellery By Shalini Sunday, 2nd June 10 AM - 4 PM. Always a fun day out and I am really looking forward to spending time with my Stamford Artisans Guild friends. It will be good to see Barry Windsor the Wood Turner again. He used to be a Fineshade regular and then stopped coming due to family reasons. Barry is lovely and makes beautiful things. And the usual Fineshade regulars will all be there too! Everyone please start doing the Sun Dance, we want nice weather and SUNSHINE!

And here is my entry for Dini Bruinsma's  Blogger Non Blogger Photo inspiration Challenge on Bead Soup Cafe.  The two things that immediately struck me about the challenge picture are the vivid colours that show up against the dark brown to black background and the prominent rounded shapes.  So I used multicolour freshwater pearls in shades of orange, yellow, red and brown with a few greens too and twisted them on silver plated copper wire to make funky hoops for earrings. I can't show you my Bra until 18 May but this might tempt you to come and have a look? Stamford Arts Centre, 18 May, 10 AM to 4 PM. Head for the Arts Centre stage and you will see all the bras exhibited! Yes my Art Bra is ready :-) and I am very proud of what I have created! Now ALL I want is that it helps to raise some money for Cancer Research UK. I really hope people of Stamford will visit our craft fair on 18 May and see how much work has gone into making these beautiful pieces to raise awareness for Cancer Research, especially Breast Cancer. All the participants in this challenge have done this in our working time, used the same raw materials we use for our work for sale and worked with the same dedication we put into creating each piece of work we produce to show you.
